Linea5 is a system, which has enjoyed unwavering popularity with companies that operate edge cutting machines, laser machinery and combination machines. Unfortunately, the age of this programme and the technologies it uses prevent its continued development in the evolving IT environment. The final development version of Linea5 is 16.0.

However, despite the discontinuation of functional development, we still provide basic technical support for Linea5. We can also distribute licences upon request of our customers. Regarding the functions of the Linea5 system – processing technologies can be prepared automatically and manually. Axis lines and clamps are positioned automatically. Simulation of an NC code can be performed before actual cutting for full control of the cutting process.

Linea5 can be installed locally or accessed via a network, to enable remote operation on different computers.


Support for DXF, ICES, DWG or DXF files

  • Simulation:
    The programme can be used for very precise verification and simulation of cutting before the machine is started.With most punching machines, the user can simulate any NC programme created directly with the Linea5 software.
  • Tool management:
    Apart from standard management functions, Linea5 also offers other options, such as: using special tools with any shape and using so-called multi tools or cluster tools. Every tool shape is associated with a tool library.
  • Post-Processor:
    PUNCH5 and CUT5 can be adjusted for operation with hundreds of different machines owing to programming language that uses high-level functions, such as subprogrammes and storage available on various levels.
  • Functions of the Post-Processor:
    With the special Post-Processor module, any programme written in the CNC language can be converted into a graphical programme that can be edited on different machinery
  • Macros:
    All macros can now be easily customised. This way, Linea5 can be used to group together several different actions.
  • Interactive nesting:
    • dragging and dropping parts on a single sheet using the mouse
    • positioning the parts with a mouse on scraps from earlier jobs
    • automatic verification of interference between parts
  • Common cuts:
    This special function can be used to cut any part duplicated several times on the same sheet. This is a very easy way of saving space on the sheet and accelerating the cutting process.
